Afraid of Poetry?
When is the last time you picked up a book of poetry? Does the idea of picking up a book of poems make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up? Do you get anxious thinking that every poem needs to be interpreted?
Poetry is a form of entertainment!
Poetry is a work of the senses that is to be experienced. Interpreting a poem is possible, even important, but experiencing poetry is necessary!
I am developing a class called "Bawdy&Body: An Introduction to Poetry for Adults". If you live in the Greater Boston area, or could easily travel here, and would be interested in attending, contact me.
